About Waterline
Waterline Construction Inc. is owned and operated by Patrick Hecker.
Patrick has been in the marine construction business since 1975. He
worked in the family construction business which was started by his
father in 1955. In 1997, his father retired and Patrick founded Waterline
construction. Waterline initially constructed residential docks but
quickly moved into commercial work. Patrick Hecker has completed thousands
of residential projects and over a hundred commercial projects.

Over 30 Years Building Docks, Decks, Seawall and More
Waterline is one of a few design, permit and build marine contractors in the
state of Florida. We have an in house commercial permit department that works
closely with an environmental engineering firm to provide you with a one stop
shop. Waterline’s environmental engineering firm works closely with the Florida
Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the US Army Corp of Engineers
(USCOE) to minimize the number Requests for Information (RFI) thus accelerating
the permitting process. Waterline’s designs are prepared in house enabling us
to work closely with you to make any changes necessary to give the most
efficient use of your waterfront property. Waterline uses state-of-the-art
computer aided design (CAD) machines to design its boat-friendly marinas.
Designs are transmitted to clients in PDF or JPG format.
Waterline can construct all phases of your marine project. We have designed and built thousands of feet of seawalls including rip rap, wood retaining walls, vinyl seawalls and concrete seawalls. We have also built many dock and marina projects from commercial hotel and restaurant decks, buildings over the water to floating and fixed marinas. |
